Elliot Baughman
Elliot Baughman is a first-year trombone student at the University of Iowa. His hometown is Clive, Iowa, where he attended Valley High School. At Valley, he performed at the IBA Convention with the Valley Jazz Orchestra in 2022 and Valley Symphony Band in 2023. After high school, he has continued to play in the Des Moines Metro in the Ankeny Municipal Band. He has studied with Jackson Churchill, Susie Might, John Helmich, and Sonya Siebert.
Katie Noll
Katie Noll is a freshman from Marion, Iowa studying music therapy and trombone performance. At the University of Iowa she enjoys participating in concert band, trombone choir, trombone quartet and the Hawkeye Marching Band. In her spare time she can be found sipping on cappuccinos and spending time with friends and family.
Keegan Clark
Keegan is a first year Trombone Performance major from Frankfort, Illinois. In January 2023, he served as Principal Trombonist in the Illinois All-State Band. He is currently involved in Concert Band and Marching Band here at Iowa, and is thrilled to be a part of Iowa’s Trombone Studio.
Owen Stolmeier
Owen Stolmeier is a freshman from Davenport Iowa where he attended Davenport North High School. Owen is currently studying trombone performance and music education majors with a minor in chemistry. Throughout high school Owen was involved in marching band, concert band, jazz band, show choir pit band, and a brass ensemble. Owen currently plans to teach music at the high school level and pursue a career as a musician.
Emmett Martin
Emmett is a Trombonist from Wheaton, Illinois and a first year Performance and Music Education major.
