Tonight’s recital with guest Ko-ichiro Yamamoto and Chiao-Wen Cheng was a massive success. The recital hall was filled to capacity and Mr. Yamamoto received a very warm response with several curtain calls. He responded in kind with two encores.

Thank you, Ko-ichiro, for coming to the University of Iowa and making the first in our series of trombone recitals a massive success!

    What happened to the master class that was scheduled
    for 4 pm on Tuesday?

    There was never a scheduled 4:00 masterclass for Ko-ichiro, but there are for some of the other artists. Sorry for the confusion.
