Alumni Update: Dr. James Roberts Retires
Dr. James Roberts recently retired from Jacksonville State University where he served as Professor of Trombone for thirty-eight years. Dr. Roberts received his MA and DMA from the University of Iowa where he served as Teaching Assistant to Dr. John Hill. Alumni Success – Austin Peiffer
Congratulations to Austin Peiffer for being awarded “Honorable Mention” in both the solo and orchestral excerpts competition at the Southeast Trombone Symposium this week! Austin will attend the University of Utah this fall where he will pursue a Masters Degree in Trombone Performance with Dr. Donn Schaefer and Larry Zalkind.
