Jessica DuCharme

Congratulations to Iowa graduate student Jessica DuCharme, student of Dr. David Gier and teaching assistant to the trombone studio, for winning the Grand Prize at the recent Southeastern Trombone Symposium! Her prize was a brand new Shires trombone. Jessica performed the Tomasi Concerto in the final round. Jessica holds the Bachelor of Music degree from the Columbus State University and will complete the Masters Degree in Music from the University of Iowa in the spring of 2011.
