Dr. Sam Keehn, Instructor of Low Brass at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, will be hosting the first annual Quad City Low Brass Day. Dr. Allen has been invited to be in residence for the event. He will perform in a faculty recital and present a “Break-out Session” on developing consistent intonation for trombonists. There will also be a mass choir with rehearsals and a concert in the evening. The full schedule is below:

8:30-9:00 – Registration and Refreshments (Bergendoff Hall outside of  the Ensemble Rehearsal Room)

9:00-9:30 – Warm-up Session, Directed by Dr. Samantha Keehn

9:30-11:00 – Rehearsal, Ensemble Rehearsal Room

11:15-12:00 – Break-Out Session

12:00-1:00 – Lunch – On your own

1:00-3:00 – Rehearsal, Ensemble Rehearsal Room

 3:15-4:00 – Faculty Recital
