Dr. Jonathan Whitaker Masterclass
Dr. Jonathan Whitaker, Assistant Trombone Professor at the University of Alabama, presented a masterclass during Trombone Seminar on October 11, 2012. On September 17, 2012 the University of Iowa hosted Iowa native James Miller, Associate Principal Trombone of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Mr. Miller played several pieces, including one of J.S. Alumni Update: Dr. James Roberts Retires
Dr. James Roberts recently retired from Jacksonville State University where he served as Professor of Trombone for thirty-eight years. Dr. Roberts received his MA and DMA from the University of Iowa where he served as Teaching Assistant to Dr. John Hill.
