ITF 2013 Iowa Trombone Octet Performance II
The Iowa Trombone Octet performed twice during the ITF week. The second of these performances, pictured below, was outside the Trade Center on the Chattahoochee River.

Iowa Trombone Octet to Perform at the 2013 ITF
The University of Iowa Trombone Octet has been selected as one of the student performing ensembles for the 2013 International Trombone Festival in Columbus, Georgia. The octet is comprised of students of all levels, from doctoral candidates through freshmen. Congratulations to everyone for their hard work!

The International Trombone Association has just completed a complete redesign of the website. I posted months ago about one of our graduate students, Jessica Ducharme, winning the top prize at the Southeast Trombone Symposium. Yesterday I received the new ITA Journal and there is an article about the symposium and competition. Check pages 37-39.
