Andrew Birschbach is accepted as a member of the Classical Symphony Orchestra for Summer 2012. Classical Symphony Orchestra is based out of Chicago, Illinois.

Rob Medd was awarded a scholarship to attend the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific in Vancouver, BC. Rob will study with Gordon Cherry and Ian McDougall. 

Freshman trombone major, Justin Gingerich, was accepted as a participant at the Southeast Trombone Symposium. He advanced to the semi-final round of the Orchestral Excerpts Competition, sponsored by Shires Trombones.

Recent University of Iowa trombone graduate, Alex Krawczyk, has accepted a fellowship to pursue a master’s degree at the Indiana University where he will study with Carl Lenthe. Congratulations, Alex!
