Students in the News – Eric Jesteadt

For the past seventeen years students at the University of Iowa have held the Dance Marathon, a fund raiser to raise money for pediatric cancer. The funds raised go to help pay for treatment and assist families with the costs associated with treatment. This year over 1,300 people danced for 24 hours, raising a record $1.2 million dollars for pediatric cancer.

Trombonist Eric Jesteadt has been involved with the Dance Marathon for several years, often assisting with the music. He is pictured below with his soprano (!) trombone.
