Last week the University of Iowa had the privilege of hosting jazz trombonist Michael Dease for two days. Michael presented a masterclass to the trombone studio on developing fundamentals and how to achieve an ideal sound. He also performed that night with Johnson County Landmark, under the direction of Dr. John Rapson, and the faculty jazz combo.
