Alumni Success – Austin Peiffer
Congratulations to Austin Peiffer for being awarded “Honorable Mention” in both the solo and orchestral excerpts competition at the Southeast Trombone Symposium this week! Austin will attend the University of Utah this fall where he will pursue a Masters Degree in Trombone Performance with Dr. Donn Schaefer and Larry Zalkind.

Southeastern Trombone Symposium in the News
The Ledger-Inquirer, a local newspaper serving West Central Georgia has a brief write-up about the upcoming Southeastern Trombone Symposium. Recent alumni Austin Peiffer has advanced in the orchestral excerpts competition and will also be participating in the solo competition. Both competitions are sponsored by the S.E. Shires company.
